For those of you who have seen people freak out about “Robert Sugden” and “Aaron Dingle” and “Robron”, and wonder what Emmerdale is about, I’ve decided to make a master post with links for those of you who want to watch Aaron and Robert’s story from the beginning and get on the fandom’s hype train. Mind you, it’s gonna take you a while, but it’s worth every second.
Emmerdale is a british soap opera that has been running for more than 50 years, since 1972. It’s practically impossible to watch every single episode and catch up to current episodes if you have a busy schedule (though not impossible if you have access to ITVX), but for Robron-purposes, you will only need to watch the following playlists that span the years Robert and Aaron were on screen together, played by their current actors.
So, without further ado, if you have a bit of free time and want to enjoy the roller-coaster of emotions that is Robert and Aaron’s story, here it is:

Robert’s actor left the show in 2019, but Aaron’s actor stayed until 2021. He came back briefly in 2022, and then returned permanently in 2023 with an all new personality.
